Complementary Wellbeing Therapies

Reiki
A gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that promotes deep relaxation, helping to calm the mind and support overall wellbeing.
Many neurodivergent people experience a constantly active nervous system, making it difficult to fully relax. Reiki may help encourage a sense of calm, reduce stress and create space for the body and mind to rest. While experiences vary, many people report feeling more grounded, balanced and emotionally settled after a session.
Reiki is not exclusively for neurodivergent individuals. It is suitable for anyone looking to reduce stress, improve relaxation and support their overall wellbeing.

Indian Head Massage
A deeply relaxing therapy focusing on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face to help release muscular tension and encourage nervous system regulation.
For neurodivergent individuals, reducing physical tension may help ease sensory overload, improve body awareness and promote relaxation after periods of stress or overwhelm. Many people find it helps quiet a busy mind and creates an opportunity to pause and reset.
Indian Head Massage is not just for neurodivergent people. It is suitable for anyone experiencing stress, muscle tension or simply wishing to enjoy a relaxing wellbeing treatment.

BreathWork - Traditional Pranayama & Meditation
Traditional breathing practices and guided meditation designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional balance and mindful awareness.
Many neurodivergent people naturally breathe more shallowly during periods of stress, anxiety or sensory overload. Learning gentle breathing techniques may help
regulate the nervous system, improve focus, reduce overwhelm and increase emotional awareness. Meditation can also encourage self-awareness and create moments of calm throughout the day.
These practices are not exclusively for neurodivergent individuals. They can benefit anyone looking to reduce stress, improve wellbeing and develop healthier breathing and relaxation habits.

Testimonial
“ The sessions were really good; I felt understood and like a lightbulb switched on when we were talking about RSD. I like the fidget and Lorraine was really nice. I was upset when I realised this was our last session. I feel a lot comfier with myself now. ”
“ These sessions have been enlightening, helpful and very validating, they have built up some confidence in me and I suspect they have helped me prepare for future events like a diagnosis as well as help me understand some of my issues. ”
“ The meetings have been helped improve my understanding of autism and other conditions, such as PDA and ADHD. They have been extremely useful in the understanding of who I am, as well as helping me understand other people. ”
“ I was nervous about starting something new, but I’ve really grown into the sessions. They’ve helped me set goals and actually achieve them, and I’m learning things about myself that I genuinely wasn’t aware of before. ”
